About Jacky

Jacky is the co-creator, along with David Soman, of the New York Times Bestselling LADYBUG GIRL and AGENT LION books and has written several other picture books, including, SUNNY SIDE-UP, illustrated by Fiona Woodcock, OLIVE & PEKOE, illustrated by Giselle Potter, BLACK BELT BUNNY, illustrated by Jay Fleck and
GOOD DREAM DRAGON with illustrations by Courtney Dawson.

Jacky works as a bookseller at Postmark books in Rosendale, NY, and periodically assists in the local elementary school library and early grade classrooms.

She has designed and packaged book jackets, trading cards, and catalogs, and previously she was an art director and production manager at Chronogram and Upstate House magazines as well as a television producer, working with The Jim Henson Company, National Geographic Television, TBS, PBS, and Comedy Central.

She served on the Wild Earth board, supporting nature connection, and on the Rosendale Library board for years.

Jacky loves to bake cakes, garden for pollinators, and to wander in the woods with her dog, that looks like both a lion and a polar bear.
She lives with her family in Rosendale, NY.
